Sarah Wood is Elected President of PHCC of California at PHCC West 2023

Sarah Wood is elected as the second female President of PHCC of California, and first to represent the HVACR Industry exclusively. She was elected to President at PHCC West 2023 in Anchorage, Alaska.

Sarah Wood of Allegiance Heating and Air Conditioning in San Diego, California was elected as the second female in our history to be elected President and first to represent HVACR Industry exclusively with their business. This election took place at PHCC West 2023 in Anchorage Alaska on April 27, 2023. Wood has served alongside the industry leaders in plumbing-heating-cooling contracting since 2009, first being involved with the local San Diego Chapter, then serving on San Diego’s Board eventually as President for two terms, and ultimately serving with the State Board and becoming President.

Allegiance Heating and Air Conditioning was founded by Sarah’s father in 1984. After her father’s unfortunate passing, Sarah took over the company in 2009. She not only stepped in and handled the company affairs, she was able to move into the role of CEO and grow the business from one truck to 12.

Wood is a major force in the HVACR industry and understands that this part of the membership is underrepresented. Her run for President brings a fresh perspective on these underrepresented facets of this association. Per Wood, “It is a new dawn for the PHCC of California and the p-h-c industry in many ways. As a candidate who has served in every position, including the Executive Board, I am qualified and enthusiastic to lead the PHCC of California in this new era. While California likes to throw twists and turns our way, I know, as an association, we can roll with the punches.”

PHCC of California is proud to serve alongside President Wood and looks forward to growing together as an organization.
