SAN DIEGO, CA – The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors Association (PHCC) of San Diego celebrates its annual Open House on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 9920 Scripps Lake Drive, Suite 102, San Diego, CA. The public is invited to attend this open house and explore the PHCC San Diego facility of classrooms, hands on labs and networking opportunities.
There is a shortage in the trades industry and the need for plumbing & HVAC techs is at an all-time high. These essential careers not only offer great pay and job advancement, but most companies are willing to cover the cost of education for their employees. Learn about the many training and certification programs offered by the PHCC Academy of San Diego at this annual summer event. Open enrollment for the 2021-2022 four-year Journey-Level Plumbing Apprenticeship also begins July 15th. This “Earn as you learn” program meets weekly and is accredited by the Department of Labor.
“Providing education and training to the plumbing-heating-cooling service industry is our number-one priority,” said Executive Director Bonni Parsons. “Our facility, instructors, and curriculum offer an array of learning from the basics of pre-apprenticeship to work-ready programs to advanced continuing education.”
