IAPMO’s Uniform Evaluation Service (UES) is pleased to announce that California-based Linford, LLC has been granted UES Evaluation Report ER-0295 referencing the 2012, 2009 & 2006 International Building Code® and recognizing the LinForce-C Composite System.
ER-0295 is the result of extensive engineering review and compiles the supporting documentation showing that Linford’s LinForce-C Composite Systems satisfy the latest code requirements along with AC-125 dated June 12. This allows for the specification of LinForce-C Composite Systems by architects, contractors, specifiers and designers, and approval of these installations by code officials. It also provides code officials with a concise summary of the product’s attributes and documentation of code compliance.
Products recognized under the UES have successfully undergone evaluation based on applicable requirements within the International family of codes, as well as codes published by other entities. UES staff thoroughly examined Linford’s LinForce-C Composite Systems product information, test reports, calculations, quality control methods and other factors to determine the product was code compliant.

The UES program is built upon IAPMO’s more than 70 years of experience in evaluating products for code compliance. Accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the program operates under ISO/IEC Guide 65, “General Requirements for Bodies Operating Product Certification Systems.”
“Linford, LLC can now reference its ER-0295 for LinForce-C Composite Systems to ensure that code officials quickly have the information required for their decision on approval,” said UES Director Richard Beck, PE, CBO, MCP. They now can go out with their systems knowing that structural designers have an added resource to turn to when seeking and specifying FRP composites for their projects.”
