The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) today unveiled a completely revamped set of Web pages, featuring a new, more intuitive navigational system which guides visitors to significantly improved content more efficiently.
The new design better illustrates the relationship between IAPMO’s various business units to demonstrate how they all work together. With this understanding built into the navigation, fewer clicks are required to take visitors to the information they seek.
“IAPMO is a hand of many fingers, each doing a different task to help the hand reach its desired goal,” said Executive Director Russ Chaney. “These new sites reflect that cohesiveness and, ultimately, make life a little easier on the hand clicking the mouse.”
Another new feature is a left hand navigation bar that allows one-click access to many of IAPMO’s most frequently-visited pages across all the sites.
Specific business units also benefit from increased Web content and a more focused explanation of their capabilities. IAPMO R&T, for instance, now has a link providing one-stop shopping for all the information, applications and forms required for ISO 9001 accreditation.
More additions and improvements include:
• Enhanced field service representative and chapter searches
• Faster access to publications and the bookstore
• More technical information
• More educational programs
• Search engine optimization
• New photos
• Promotional videos
