State of Florida Approves IAPMO ES

The Florida State Legislature has accepted IAPMO ES as an approved certification body. This means Authorities Having Jurisdiction across the State of Florida will accept products with an accompanying evaluation report from IAPMO ES.

The approval was part of House Bill 697, Florida Building Code Standards, introduced by Rep. Gary Aubuchon, vice chair of the Committee on Infrastructure. The approval is granted through Oct. 1, 2009, during which time IAPMO ES will seek permanent approval.

“This is a tremendous achievement for IAPMO ES,” said Amir Zamanian, director of ES. “The assurance of statewide approval is an invaluable asset to our clients wishing to market their products in Florida.”

It’s the latest in a series of such approvals that have been coming in rapid-fire fashion for IAPMO ES in recent weeks. The County of Los Angeles and City of Las Vegas, Nev., have also announced acceptance of IAPMO ES reports as word spreads about IAPMO ES’ strong credibility among building officials.

Industry heavyweights have recently taken advantage of IAPMO ES’ growing acceptance nationwide and expedited evaluation service that together eliminate the kinds of delays that could have slowed their products’ delivery to market.
