Certification Signifies Building Code Compliance
COLUMBUS, Ohio – ProSTUD™ Drywall Framing has received vital code certification from IAPMO Evaluation Services. With this certification the ProSTUD Drywall Framing System is recognized to be in compliance with the 2006 International Building Code® (IBC) and the 2006 International Residential Code® (IRC)
Leading cold-formed steel framing manufacturers, Dietrich Metal Framing, a Worthington Industries company (NYSE:WOR), and ClarkWestern Building Systems have co-developed the high performance ProSTUD Drywall Framing System to meet the needs of the building contractors. The co-developed ProSTUD will continue to be independently sold through Dietrich and ClarkWestern.
The patent pending ProSTUD Drywall Framing System has set a new industry benchmark by combining high-strength steel with innovative design. Requiring less steel to produce, this lightweight, easy to install system provides benefits for contractors, architects and building owners.
