Palm Springs is now in the rear-view mirror! What an amazing conference. The recent IAPMO co-located Annual Education and Business Conference (IAPMO, ASSE and ARCSA) proved to be nothing short of extraordinary, bringing together professionals, leaders, and innovators from across our industries. By co-locating multiple specialized meetings under one roof, the event created a dynamic environment where collaboration, education, and networking thrived. I am sure I had the opportunity to speak with many of you; I was at the registration desk helping you with your week’s itinerary. It was so great to see so many old friends and to make new ones.
I want to take a moment and talk about next year’s conference. It was just announced we are celebrating IAPMO’s 100th anniversary during the conference in Universal City, Los Angeles. Details are forthcoming, but I can tell you — next year’s conference will be amazing. Please don’t miss out!

As most of you have noticed, IAPMO has gone to a co-located format every other year, which allows participants to engage with a diverse range of topics and colleagues, opening doors to conversations and connections that might not have occurred otherwise. Bringing together IAPMO, ASSE and ARCSA under one roof every other year has proven to be a successful format for all the members. I encourage your feedback; you can contact me or my staff anytime if you have thoughts or ideas you want us to consider for the next conference.
This year’s conference was a huge success. I have attended 24 conferences, and I think I am qualified to say this year was in the top 10! I want to congratulate Tina Marian and her staff for once again providing a great venue for us to gather, and for coordinating all the week’s activities. Monday night was a lot of fun! At the welcome dinner we were encouraged to dress up as our favorite “Rock Star.” I saw Madonna, Pat Benatar, David Lee Roth, and Axl Rose just to name a few. What a great way to break the ice and get to know other likeminded professionals. On Wednesday night, we went to the Palm Springs Air Museum. I was fascinated by the airplanes on display. I was standing next to airplanes that shaped our aviation past. Many of the planes on display are in history books that our children get to read about, yet I got to view and touch them. I learned a lot at the museum, and I hope each of you learned as much as I did.
The success of this conference is a testament to IAPMO’s leadership and vision — bringing people together, fostering dialogue, and driving meaningful change. It set a new standard for what industry events can be: collaborative, innovative, and impactful.
Hold on — did I already mention next year is our 100th anniversary? This is a big deal, and we’re making it a BIG DEAL! If you’ve attended in the past, you will most definitely be there. If you’ve never attended, this is the conference you want to be at. This is not just another conference; no, this is the conference of the century. This is the conference with the very best speakers, best education and the best events planned. This will be the biggest event of the century, and you will want to be there. Stay tuned for updates throughout the year. I can’t wait to tell you more!
