The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) begins its 92nd annual Education and Business Conference today. The conference which runs through Thursday, is being held via Zoom for the second consecutive year.
“I do hope regardless of whether you’re a regular attendee or potential first-timer that you’ll log in and participate because it’s a great way to meet people from all over the country you would perhaps not otherwise have the opportunity,” IAPMO President Dave Gans said. “I recommend taking advantage of this unique time in which we can socialize and learn from each other virtually. I do look forward to the times when we are again meeting face to face; however, let’s not overlook the chance to meet new friends this way.”
Gans will deliver the welcome address at 8 a.m. PDT, and he will followed by the issuing of Executive Reports, IAPMO CEO Dave Viola’s CEO Report, and awards presentations. Robert Glennon, an internationally renowned water resource expert and the best-selling author of Unquenchable, will deliver the keynote address at 9:30 a.m. PDT.
