The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is pleased to announce that IAPMO code instructors will once again teach the plumbing and mechanical courses at CALBO Education Weeks, Oct. 7-8 in San Ramon, Calif., and Nov. 18-19 in Ontario, Calif.
IAPMO instructors Mike Mitchell and Roger Fuller will teach “2007 California Plumbing Code Essentials” and “2007 California Mechanical Code Essentials,” respectively.
Mitchell is senior plumbing inspector for the City and County of San Francisco. He has been involved in the plumbing trades since 1973, with half of his career spent on the contracting side of the industry and the balance on code administration. Mitchell brings this wealth of practical knowledge to his classrooms.
Fuller serves the County of Sacramento as a supervising building inspector for plumbing and mechanical inspections. His more than 30 years of experience include 11 years as an HVAC installer and estimator, 11 years as a HVAC contractor and more than 12 years as an inspector/plan reviewer. He holds a wide variety of certifications including Certified Building Official.
“Participants at CALBO Education Weeks events taught by IAPMO instructors know they’re gaining vital knowledge that will help them every day in their work from the absolute best teachers in the business,” said Bob Siemsen, IAPMO president.
CALBO Education Weeks events provide up to 60 courses, in a variety of topics, at each venue. Courses and schedules are carefully chosen to provide the most relevant and timely educational opportunities for all participants, including those working toward California Track Credentials.
