McLeod is an industry expert in product compliance, with 17 years’ experience in the plumbing industry, connecting stakeholders and working to guide compliance, assess risk and support global market access. Prior to joining IAPMO, McLeod held various roles at Kohler Co., including quality engineer, sales engineer, senior staff engineer and, most recently, manager of Codes, Standards and Regulations.
“We are excited to have Cambria join our team of industry experts,” said Lee Mercer, IAPMO executive vice president of Industry Relations and Business Development. “She is well known and respected among the industry. Among her new responsibilities, McLeod will cultivate new relationships and deepen existing relationships with IAPMO’s customer base, collaborate with department heads in the strategic development, planning, oversight, and execution of IAPMO’s business development strategies, objectives, and initiatives throughout North American and abroad, and support Government Relations and Field Services in developing analyses, technical positions, and comments for public rulemaking.
McLeod earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and a Master of Arts in economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has been involved in numerous industry committees, standards committees and task groups including Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) board of directors, American Supply Association, Alliance for Water Efficiency, American Society of Plumbing Engineers, and the Canadian Standards Association. “IAPMO’s vision, to protect public health and safety and improve safe and sustainable water and sanitation around the world, aligns with my personal and professional values,” McLeod said. “I have a passion for water, truly enjoy product compliance, and value the depth of knowledge within the industry.
