Housecall Pro, Truewerk, and WD-40 sponsored 20 HVAC scholarship winners who were awarded $2,500 each at the 2nd annual Trade Academy HVAC Scholarship Award Ceremony. The ceremony brought together industry leaders, instructors, and rising HVAC students to celebrate their achievements.
SAN DIEGO — At the 2nd annual Trade Academy HVAC Scholarship Award Ceremony recognized the achievements of 20 winners who were awarded a scholarship worth $2,500, along with product prizes from Truewerk, WD-40, and Housecall Pro. The ceremony brought together industry leaders, instructors, and rising HVAC students for an inspiring evening filled with speeches and announcements.
In 2021, Housecall Pro introduced Trade Academy, a complimentary platform offering specialized job boards. It caters to home service companies by allowing them to construct employer profiles, publicize their available job openings, and browse through resumes of competent job seekers in their locality. Trade Academy has been designed with the goal of empowering Pros and providing useful resources to trade school students, job hunters, and home service entrepreneurs.

Out of 413 applicants from 98 schools, the scholarship winners of various ages ranging from 18 to 63, come from diverse backgrounds but share a common passion for HVAC and a dedication to craftsmanship. Their skills and exceptional character make them not only competent technicians but also individuals who aspire to create a positive change in the world around them.
Each scholarship winner received a prize package worth $2,500, which included a one-year supply of WD-40 products, Truewerk workwear, and a free one-year subscription to Housecall Pro. Jonathan Trainum, one of the scholarship winners, expressed his gratitude, saying “I would like to thank all of the sponsors and judges for this award and the opportunity to represent your brands.
