The China IAPMO R&T Lab has become the first China-based testing laboratory to be accredited by ema (Entidad Mexicana de Acreditación, A.C.) for several categories of plumbing products.
The China IAPMO R&T Lab is now accredited to test water closets, fill and flush valves, and showerheads, as well as other plumbing products, to various NOM and NMX standards.
Accreditation by ema, the premier non-governmental agency in Mexico for the accreditation of testing laboratories and certification bodies, enables the China IAPMO R&T Lab to expand its international services to other areas of the globe.
“I have received numerous requests from manufacturers with factories in China to obtain this accreditation in order to assist them with expanding their market into Mexico,” said Jeff Huang, General Manager of the China IAPMO R&T Lab. “This accreditation means that not only can we assist them with testing for markets like Canada and the United States, a manufacturer can now cover all of North America by testing through the China IAPMO R&T Lab.”
The China IAPMO R&T Lab will be adding more testing categories with ema in 2018.
The China IAPMO R&T Lab is a division of The IAPMO Group of companies, which also operates labs in Ontario, Calif., and Bekasi, Jawa Barat, Indonesia.
