Ohio Approves ARCSA Workshops for Continuing Education Credits

In a significant step forward, the state of Ohio has approved ARCSA’s Designer, Installer, and Inspector classes for continuing education hours — 16.0, and 8.0 CEU hours respectively — for private water systems contractors. These credits can be applied toward 2025 or 2026 registration requirements under Ohio Administrative Code 3701-28-18. This recognition not only validates the value of ARCSA’s training but also reinforces our commitment to supporting professionals nationwide with meaningful educational advancement.

Get Involved: Help Shape National Water Standards

ARCSA, in partnership with ASPE and IAPMO, is currently seeking members for two Consensus Bodies to help update the ARCSA/ASPE/IAPMO 63 and 78 standards. These critical ANSI-accredited documents guide the safe and effective design and installation of rainwater and stormwater harvesting systems.

Standard 63 focuses on rooftop and above-grade collection systems, while Standard 78 covers stormwater harvesting for direct end-use applications. These updates are vital for aligning with new technologies and plumbing codes, and for meeting the growing demands of stormwater reuse systems.

We invite industry professionals, particularly plumbing engineers and system designers, to contribute their expertise and ensure these standards remain the trusted resource for sustainable water reuse.

Join Us On the Journey

From top-tier training and nationwide recognition to standards that influence the entire industry, ARCSA is where the future of water reuse is being built. Get involved, stay connected, and help shape what comes next.
