The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials will hold its annual Technical Committee meeting in Denver, Colorado May 5 – 9, 2008 to review proposed changes for the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code® and 2009 Uniform Mechanical Code®. As part of IAPMO’s consensus process, the development of the UPC and UMC includes an open call for code change proposals from October 1, 2007 through February 1, 2008. The Denver Technical Committee meetings are open to the public and anyone in the audience may voice their position to the committee in this open forum.
Throughout the week, committees will review and act on all comments, including the Assembly Comments passed at IAPMO’s Las Vegas Assembly Consideration Session held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 during IAPMO’s Annual Education and Business Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
