The City of Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety places in IAPMO Evaluation Service Reports the same trust it gives those produced by any other third party report provider.
According to officials within the department, manufacturers may now use their IAPMO ES Reports to apply for a Los Angeles Research Report at the same level of validity of other nationally recognized code agencies. The City of Los Angeles continues to enjoy a long-term trust in the product evaluation services provided by IAPMO, according to officials, who appreciate how IAPMO has grown with the city of Los Angeles over the last 80 years.
