The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) raises the bar each year with its annual conference, renowned for offering industry‐leading educational opportunities for plumbing and mechanical inspectors and tradespeople, as well as networking with industry peers. This year promises to be no exception.
All of the classes offered will have Continuing Education Units (CEU) associated with them. With this being the first year of the code cycle, there will be extensive training sessions covering code changes within the 2015 Uniform Plumbing and Uniform Mechanical codes. Additionally, classes covering other code- and industry-related issues, as well as the ever-popular Plumbing and Mechanical Code Workshop, will round out a great week of education and training.
IAPMO’s 86th annual Education and Business Conference will be held Sept. 27-Oct. 1 at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, Nev. IAPMO welcomes Greg Schwem, known as the “king of the hill in the growing world of corporate comedy” for his humorous take on the 21st-century workplace and work/life balance as the conference’s keynote speaker.
Full‐week and one‐day registration packages are available, as well as a group rate on accommodations at Planet Hollywood. The deadline for early registration, with a $70 discount off the regular price, is Aug. 24.
Come see why IAPMO’s Annual Education and Business Conference is the event of choice for plumbing and mechanical professionals — or anybody with a stake in safe, healthy drinking water, sanitation, and heating/cooling systems. Registration is available online. For more information, please contact Travel and Events at (909) 472‐4207 or conference@iapmo.org.
