ARCSA International Announces 2026 Technical Symposium: Advancing the Future of Rainwater and Stormwater Catchment and Use

As communities across the country face intensifying drought cycles, aging infrastructure, and growing demand for resilient water systems, the need for practical and scalable solutions is more urgent than ever. In response to these challenges, ARCSA International is pleased to announce its upcoming Technical Symposium, scheduled for May 20-21 at the Grundfos Headquarters in Brookshire, Texas.

This focused event is designed for professionals who plan, design, install, regulate, or advocate for sustainable water systems. The Technical Symposium will bring together rainwater and stormwater experts, system designers, engineers, architects, builders, inspectors, manufacturers, educators, and policy leaders. Its purpose is to provide advanced education and meaningful discussion on the future of decentralized rainwater and stormwater solutions and the growing role of these practices.

Throughout the two-day program, attendees will take part in sessions that explore current and emerging trends in the industry. Presentations will cover topics such as system design and installation, best practices for code compliance, and the ongoing evolution of standards that support the wider adoption of alternative water supplies. These discussions are essential as the water sector responds to increasing climate variability and shifting regulatory expectations.

The Technical Symposium will also feature an exhibitor area where attendees can explore the technologies and products used in rainwater and stormwater systems. Exhibitors will present filtration and treatment solutions, smart monitoring tools, storage and conveyance components, and other innovations that can enhance system performance across residential, commercial, agricultural, and municipal applications. This interactive environment offers a valuable opportunity to see proven tools firsthand and learn how they can support more resilient water infrastructure.

Community building will be a key part of the event. ARCSA is dedicated to strengthening the network of professionals who are shaping the future of water resilience. The Technical Symposium provides dedicated time for attendees to connect with peers, manufacturers, educators, researchers, and policy advocates. These conversations help unite the broader water community and encourage collaboration that advances shared goals.

For longstanding ARCSA members, the symposium will be the beginning of a signature event for 2026 and beyond. For newer professionals and those who may be exploring ARCSA for the first time, it offers an excellent introduction to the association’s educational mission and its work within The IAPMO Group. ARCSA continues to expand its offerings to support safe, reliable, and high-quality approaches to alternative water supplies.

With advanced education, detailed industry updates, and a vibrant gathering of professionals who are committed to the future of sustainable water solutions, the 2026 ARCSA Technical Symposium promises to be an essential event for the water community.
