IAPMO proudly announced the dedication of the conference room at its laboratory facility in Monterrey, Mexico, in honor of former General Manager Dr. Donato Lozano, a beloved and respected member of the IAPMO family who passed away suddenly in August. The special recognition celebrates Lozano’s outstanding contributions and unwavering commitment to the organization over the course of his distinguished career. The dedication ceremony was held on Dec. 17.
Lozano worked with IAPMO for more than 20 years, playing a pivotal role in building IAPMO’s business in Mexico from the ground up. His leadership, vision, and dedication were instrumental in advancing IAPMO’s objectives throughout North America.

“This dedication is a testament to Donato’s lasting impact, not only within the Mexico lab office but across the entire organization,” said Jose Madrigal, vice president of Continuous Compliance. “It reflects the high regard in which Donato is held by his colleagues and peers. The conference room will now stand as a symbol of his legacy, inspiring future generations of IAPMO team members to follow his example of excellence and dedication.
“We thank Donato for his exceptional service and are proud to honor him in this meaningful way.”
The laboratory held its grand opening in October 2023, a ribbon cutting that represented a pinnacle in Lozano’s career with IAPMO that began as a consultant inspector more than two decades ago.
